This is me.

Hey. My name is Justin. I'm 27, I live on the upper east side of Manhattan and my interests are visual arts, soccer, musi...

Anyways, I just came back from vacation in Argentina and Uruguay. Both truly fantastic countries to visit and ones I will surely return to with a vengeance. I struck an unusually satisfying chord with Uruguay in particular. I do have family there, which made the experience that much more interesting; family that I have actually never met before. However, there is something to be said about warmth and hospitality, and Uruguayans have both. From the moment I stepped off the plane in Montevideo until the time I left I was completely at ease in the environment, an environment mind you that I have never known. My family there and their friends took care of me and looked out for me. Particularly my cousin Andres, whom I got to know well.

The time there was short as vacations always are, but I will return. I hear Punta del Este is a fantastic beach and after a trip to large cities in the winter there is nothing I want more than to take it easy beach side with a drink. My parents and sister and brother-in-law are planning a trip there in January, so hopefully I'll be able to make the trek with them.

UPDATE: Haven't yet gone to Punta del Este, but I will have my moment in the sun in the East when I visit Thailand and Vietnam in April. Stay Tuned.
